As featured in the June 2008 ACBL Bridge Bulletin, 8 Is Enough Swiss Teams is an exciting team event that is sweeping the nation and the Fort Lauderdale Bridge Club!  Here’s how it works:

Each player is rated based on masterpoints, and each team can have a maximum of 8 points:

  C: 0-750 Masterpoints = 1 point

  B: 750-2000 Masterpoints = 2 points

  A: 2000+ Masterpoints = 3 points

For example, two A players (6 points) would have to team up with two C players (2 points) for a team total of 8 points.

8 Is Enough Swiss Teams will take place every 3rd Tuesday Evening at 7pm.

The winning team will receive a FREE PLAY for a future evening game. (Free Play is valued at $5.00)

8 is Enough is a Triple Point (Charity) Event.  $5/members  $7/non-members $10/dinner (Optional, choice of 2 entrees, salad, soup, and dessert.)

Teams over 8 points will not be eligible for masterpoints or prizes.

Game will also be stratified! Teams with 8 points will be considered as A. Teams less than 8 will be considered as B.

Starting with the December 2008 event, duplicate boards will be used in every match with analyses available at the end of each round. (Round robin matches will have 1 set of shuffled boards.)
